Table mirror by Ilaria Innocenti & Giorgio Laboratore
Titled “Selfportrait", this double-face mirror is inspired by the Japanese fan as a feminine accessory symbol of luxury and beauty.
As their designers Ilaria Innocenti & Giorgio Laboratore explain, in the past the process of making mirrors in glass was too expensive. For that reason, they were a luxury accessory that not everybody could have.
Lucky for us times have changed. We love the detail of the wrinkles of paper fan, impressed in the wood with perfect Italian craftsmanship, offering three handle finishes: natural cherry wood/ nichel mirror, dusty rose/nichel and dark gray/golden.
The mirror is made from a sheet of galvanized steel and accessories include a base for table use and a wall support. You can find it at Portego.
